BG Fuel Systems 400-2 Pro pump delivers increased reliability
Dahlonega, GA - BG Fuel Systems, a Barry Grant Inc. company, offers the BG 400-2 Pro fuel pump that takes the BG 400-2 pump to new levels of performance consistency.
Based upon the BG 400-2 pump that has set the benchmark for high volume, drag racing fuel pumps, the 400-2 Pro utilizes a wear plate impregnated with titanium nitrite.
The titanium nitrite surface provides an extremely durable wear surface for the rotor and the vanes to operate upon. The result is a dramatic increase in life of the wear plate, greater stability in fuel pressure and volume. The greater wear plate longevity and the resulting increase in pump consistency leads to better on-track performance.
The BG 400-2 Pro pump delivers a consistent 400+ gal/hr flow with less than 14.5 amp draw at 18 psi. It features an externally adjustable bypass (16 to 25+ psi) and uses -10 AN outlet, -12 AN inlet with -8 AN return line. This pump is being used by many of the top NHRA and IHRA Pro Stock competitors.
As with all BG vane type pumps, the BG 400-2 Pro fuel pump carries a lifetime labor warranty and free flow testing.
